My 2023 Favorites

Let’s recap this year in entertainment! Here are 23 things from pop culture I loved in 2023.

1. Shania Twain
In February, we got Shania’s sixth studio album, Queen of Me! It had been almost five and a half years since her previous album release. We started off the year with the single and video “Giddy Up!” which is so fun and infectious. The entire album is amazing – and we ended up with bonus tracks later in the year! We also got the Queen of Me Tour which I was lucky enough to see twice! She also released the 25th anniversary edition of Come On Over and we finally got her Greatest Hits album on vinyl!

2. Taylor Swift
This was Taylor Swift’s year! The biggest Taylor event was the Eras Tour. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see it this year, but I’ve got tickets for 2024! I did get to see the concert film though. We also got bonus songs like “All Of The Girls You Loved Before” and “You’re Losing Me.” We got “Cruel Summer” as a single, plus videos for “Lavender Haze,” “Karma,” and “I Can See You.” Plus, we got Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
